History of DMI TNM

The history and development of DMI TNM since its foundation in 1993.

History

DMI TNM began its activity in 1993. The founder was Professor Viktor V. Abramov. In 1999 the institute was accredited as a higher educational institution at the third accreditation level, and in 2000 it received a diploma in the national ranking of higher educational institutions.

International student admission started in 2011. Students came from dozens of countries across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. In 2017 DMI TNM was licensed for specialties 222 Medicine and 221 Dentistry.

Educational activity

The educational process followed national curricula and programs. Students used the institute's facilities, library, thematic classrooms, simulation facilities and clinical training bases. Since 1999 students participated in the national integrated licensing examinations KROK-1 and KROK-2.
